We're happy to provide a Curbside Pick-Up option for those who wish to swing by our storefront at 74 Prescott Street. Please call us at 552-1464 when you arrive and we'll be happy to pop your order outside for you to retrieve.

SHIPPING RATES 

We are happy to offer flat rate shipping! Rates can change depending on the total of your order. ***Please note: Standard flat rate shipping is not applicable to orders containing select overweight & oversized items as these items can require more packaging & larger boxes to insure safe arrival. In these cases a different rate is applied depending on the item and can be viewed at checkout. ***

Canada Post Strike Information. Due to a strike by Canada Post, all shipments availing of our Flat Rate program are currently being held until the labour dispute has resolved. Orders placed using the UPS/Courier option are unaffected. If you have placed an order and wish to ship via courier instead please contact us directly at melissa@hillhead-house.com

• For Regular Priced Merchandise:
•  Flat Rate Canada Post: $10.00CAD Flat-rate on orders $50.00+(CAD) before applicable taxes. 
• Flat Rate Courier: $25.00CAD Flat-rate on orders $50.00+(CAD) before applicable taxes. Shipped via UPS, Purolator or Fedex. Please Note: Courier services are available in most metropolitan areas of Canada and not always available in rural or remote locations. In instances where a package is not deliverable via these services within the normal fee schedule we will contact you directly regarding shipping options. 
• Calculated Rate at Checkout on Orders less than $50CAD.
• Other courier rates also available and calculated at checkout. 

• For Sale Merchandise:
•  $20.00CAD Flat-rate on orders $60.00+(CAD) (Canada Post only)
• Or Calculated at Checkout on Orders less than $60CAD.

Orders under the minimum for flat rate shipping in each category are subject to calculated carrier rates. 

INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS

• Calculated at checkout.
• Please note: Shipping times can vary but are typically 6-8weeks from the time of shipping. This depends on level of service selected at checkout applicable to your region. If base level shipping is selected (ie: postal service ground shipping levels), shipping can be anywhere from 4-12weeks. 
• Faster courier rates are also available at checkout.

Where flat rate shipping does not apply, shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of items in your order. Some exceptions apply (ie: multiples of heavy items such as cement planters or our wood wick candles).

U.S. DESTINATIONS - Shipments to the US are currently paused until further notice

DUTY AND TAXES

Customers in the US and other international locations are responsible for any taxes and duties applicable upon receiving their package.

SHIPPING CARRIERS

We use Canada Post, Regular Parcel, to ship within and from Canada. 

International orders will be shipped from Canada using Canada Post, which will then switch to your regional postal service. Please note, on international packages outside of Canada, tracking is not always available. If you require tracking please choose the appropriate shipping service level provided at checkout. Courier rates can also be selected as an alternative to regular postal service rates if desired. 

SHIPPING STANDARDS

All orders are processed and prepared for shipping within 2-4 business days of purchase. Please note there may be delays during sales events and during the holiday season or public holidays.

Delivery dates will be automatically estimated, based on your chosen delivery method. Please note: where possible we strive to provide shipping with Tracking, however this may not always be the case for international orders or orders shipped via ground service.
