Nightwing Pottery Mug

Out of the darkness comes one rather magnificent creature of the night.

Set against a glossy charcoal-black glaze, a striking hand-drawn bat spreads its wings across the front of this one-of-a-kind pottery mug. The pale illustration creates a dramatic contrast against the dark clay, revealing the bat's pointed ears, tiny fangs and beautifully sweeping wings.

Even the wonderfully angular handle seems to belong to the design, giving the mug an almost wing-like silhouette when viewed from the side. Gothic, dramatic and just spooky enough, it's a piece that could happily escape the Halloween cupboard and remain in use long after October has passed.
